I’ve been meaning to write about Anorak for a long time. My friend Jane, who is a very cool mama, told me about this company a while ago (she has the very funky picnic blanket pictured below). Based in the UK, Anorak features the work of designer Laurie Robertson who is a specialist in style driven, durable outdoor products such as travel, camping and garden accessories. According to the website, childhood memories of family camping adventures were the inspiration behind the brand and the outdoors has certainly influenced the fabulous ‘Kissing Animals’ range. You can get everything from waterproof toiletry bags to duvets in these funky prints.
This picnic blanket is so clever – it rolls up into an easily portable package (see picture on the right above). The stag side is 100% cotton while the underside is waterproof….no more damp bottoms at your family picnics! Definitely one to consider if your family is the outdoorsy type.

I had been looking for some funky bed linen for Mr Moo. I was having difficulty finding something that is bright and funky and not branded (I have a funny thing about merchandising…can’t bear the idea of filling Mr Moo’s world with Thomas this, Peppa that and Disney the other!). Anyway, can’t wait till it arrives because he is completely horse-obsessed and is just going to adore it. Giddy Up !!
